CTD successful operation in Quetta, 8 terrorists killed, 3 personnel injured

The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) conducted a successful operation in Quetta, killing eight terrorists during an exchange of fire.
According to CTD officials, the raid was carried out in the Darakhshan area of the city based on intelligence reports.
A heavy gunfight broke out between security forces and the militants, resulting in the deaths of eight suspected terrorists.
During the operation, three CTD personnel were injured and shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Security forces recovered weapons and ammunition from the slain militants, indicating their involvement in planned violent activities.
Authorities said the suspects were believed to be linked to a banned organization, while further investigations are underway to confirm their identity.
Officials reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening counterterrorism efforts and ensuring public safety across Pakistan.
